A skatepark will be holding a cake sale to raise funds to repair one of its ramps.

The Front Skatepark in Weymouth will be holding the sale on October 11 from 12pm.

This is to raise funds to repair its 'much loved' mini ramp, which has already received some funds towards repairing from Weymouth Town Council.

A spokesperson for the skatepark said: "We are fundraising to rebuild our much loved mini ramp.

"Some funding is already in from Weymouth Town Council towards this rebuild, a bit more to raise before the project gets underway.

"Our homemade cake sales are always a huge hit and well-supported. If you want to bake get in touch.

"We will also have a raffle. If any local businesses want to donate a prize let us know or if you have any unwanted gifts at home pop them in to us.

"Invite your friends, all welcome, help our great little charity out."
