A signalling problem on the Dorset line towards Salisbury has caused disruption this morning.
The problem was between the Yeovil Junction and Gillingham Dorset, and blocked the line towards Salisbury.
All lines have since been re-opened, but disruption is expected to last until 2pm.
A spokesperson for South Western Railway said: "We have been informed of a signalling problem between Yeovil Junction and Gillingham. This means that trains are unable to run on the line towards Salisbury.
"For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
"We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey."
Tickets can be used at no extra costs on the following services:
- Salisbury Reds 25 between Salisbury - Tisbury - Gillingham
- Salisbury Reds 26 between Salisbury and Tisbury
- Salisbury Reds 27 between Salisbury and Tisbury
- South West Coaches CR5 between Yeovil Town and Sherborne
Replacement buses are running from Yeovil Junction to Salisbury calling at stations in between starting at approximately 9.45am.
