At the wonderful age of 98 years, Gwen left us gently and unexpectedly in the early hours of Sunday 11th March, 2007. No time for "Goodbyes".
Devoted and beloved wife of the late William for 73 years. Dearest and loving mother of John and Gerald and to daughters-in-law Maureen and Maureen. Much loved and loving grandma of James. Fond sister of Evie and Dorrie.
Funeral service at Weymouth Crematorium on Friday 30th March at 11.30am. No flowers by request, please. Donations for Fortuneswell Cancer Trust, may be sent to Albert Marsh Funeral Directors, St Michael's Road, Wareham, BH20 4QU. Tel: (01929) 552107
The family wish to sincerely thank the Medical and all other staff of Shore House, Swanage for the exemplary professional and loving care given to Gwen during the year she was with them. Her life was comfortable and happy to the end.
The family also thank the Doctors and Nurses of the Emergency and Anstey Wards of Poole Hospital for all they did in Gwen's final few hours to make her passing comfortable and peaceful.
