We attend a meeting with the bureau for disaster management. There’s a presentation on the cyclone and its effects and what lessons can be learned for the future. Frustration mounts as we are still unable to help those currently in need.
Our boxes have cleared customs and we’re told they will be flown south tomorrow. Keith and I decide to move south ourselves to join fellow team member Raul and photographer Mark who have been assessing the disaster area and supplying media coverage.
Simon stays behind to deal with the paperwork for two further consignments that have been shipped from the UK.
Travel by bus overnight, arriving in Khulna early am.
