BREWERY Square developers Andrew Wadsworth and Robert Ackland welcomed guests to their new development in the heart of Dorchester.
The evening was the first of a series of events being staged at the site – formerly the Eldridge Pope brewery – which is undergoing transformation into homes, shops and leisure and cultural facilities.
Mr Wadsworth said: “Over the next few weeks and months we will be holding evenings like this so that people can see what we’re doing here. There’s a lot of interest. Savills are here and say it’s the most successful new homes operative in the country – and that’s out of 260 Savills’ residential marketing operatives.”
Guests included the Mayor of Dorchester, Kate Hebditch. They viewed a model of the development and saw a presentation of the project.
Savills agents took the first unit on the development and the first shop – the New Curiosity Shop – opens today.
The scheme involves conversion and preservation of Victorian buildings as well as new-build homes.
