People searching for a job can take advantage of free computer courses in Weymouth.
The Weymouth Community Volunteers have secured funding from Dorset Adult Learning and the Learning and Skills Council to deliver ICT taster sessions over 12 weeks, starting in February.
The sessions will include word processing, email and internet introduction, plus job search and online application form assistance.
The sessions are aimed at people over the age of 19 who might need encouragement to overcome their fears of using a computer or who want to increase their knowledge and confidence before returning to work.
Enrolment starts on Monday, January 25, and the sessions take place at the Weymouth Community Volunteers’ base in St Mary Street.
