A DISNEY-mad dad from Fordingbridge has given his new-born son the names Walt Disney Christmas.

Walt Pain was due to be born on December 25, hence the inclusion of "Christmas" in his first names.

The little chap arrived a week early weighing in at a healthy 7lb 3oz on December 18.

But mum and dad Nicholas Pain and Georgina Way decided to keep Christmas in his nomenclature, anyway.

It fits in well with his two-year-old brother whose name, Nicholas Noel, has a Yuletide ring to it despite his being born on November 9.

Georgina, 34, who lives in Ashford Road with her lorry driver partner, said: "Both his dad and I like the name Walt Disney and, as he was due on Christmas Day, we decided that's what we would call him."

Walt and Nicholas Noel have two half brothers Matthew Way, 13, and Jamie Way, 10, who missed the Christmas connection.

Dad Nicholas David, who celebrated his 40th birthday on New Year's Eve, is such a big fan of Disney, he had Snow White and all seven dwarves tattooed on his back at the age of 18.

He said: "I just love the films. Ever since I was a little boy I've loved the films and I can sit down now at my age and watch one.

"I'm just a big softy at heart and I love my kids, and we just love everything about Christmas."
