PUPILS at Loders Primary School are really switched on when it comes to the Internet.
In fact, the school's website is so good that it has just been named the best in the county, winning the primary schools' section of the Dorset Web Awards.
Judges commended its 'excellent standard'.
Delighted headteacher Michael Kite said: "Our website has long been cause for great pride, being held up as a model of best practice, the one to emulate. It is not only a showcase of children's work, school news and useful information, it is a valued source of teaching materials and helpful links. This accolade has been well-earned."
Mr Kite paid tribute to all those who had contributed to its success, including John Foot who produced imaginative literacy resources.
He added: "In particular, our gratitude goes to Mary Buckland who was closely involved from the website's humble beginnings in 1997 and has played a key role in its development and innovation."
