For the Merlins, Simon Joslin and Gil Roberts both scored nine points, backed up by Bob Pearson with eight.

*LAST week's report incorrectly stated that Marauders' Ian Rodger had cried off at the last moment before the match against Westland Whites. In fact he had notified captain Eddy Buck well in advance.

THE strong Ilminster team proved too much for the Mosquitoes.
