IF joining a choir is one of your new year resolutions, pop along to the Lighthouse, Poole, on Tuesday, January 21, where Bournemouth Symphony Chorus is holding an open rehearsal for new members.
The chorus, which mainly works with the BSO, has a varied repertoire and plans to tackle works by Vaughan Williams and a recording of Alsop's Chichester Psalms.
In May, the ensemble will travel to Paris to perform in Notre Dame, Disneyland and La Madeleine and will also be appearing with the BSO at the Flanders Festival in October.
All singers who can read music will be welcomed at the rehearsal, which starts at 7.15pm in the arts centre concert hall.
Call (01202) 659485 for further details.
