CHRISTMAS is coming and the bin is getting fat with presents at Toymaster in Dorchester.

The shop is kindly supporting the Echo's toy appeal again this year and there's a great selection of gifts available at the South Street store for those who need inspiration.

And although readers have already been very generous this year, there is still plenty of time to donate to our appeal, which is a great support for parents and carers of children who are expecting little or nothing this Christmas.

Manager of the store Peter Healey said: "Many people will still be planning their Christmas shopping and even if they add just a small item to their list for the appeal it will make all the difference to a child's Christmas."

We have been inundated with a selection of wonderful cuddly toys, but as previously reported in the Echo, these only make great presents for a small number of children needing our help this Christmas.

So please, think about donating something that would be suitable for an older child who deserves a present to open on Christmas morning. Please only donate a new and unwrapped toy as this helps us distribute the toys to the right children.
