LUCKY Gareth Holtard received an early Christmas present when he won a new bike in the Weymouth Victorian Shownight draw.
The eight-year-old rode away on a limited edition BMX after his ticket was first out of the hat of the annual prize draw.
This year's Shownight, backed by the Dorset Echo, proved a big success and to enter the draw people had to spot 10 differences between two pictures.
Maggie Roeder of the Raleigh Centre in St Mary Street, Weymouth, said Gareth proved a perfect fit for the bike.
She said: "It's the first year we have donated to the draw and Gareth was a lovely lad. I'm sure it will make his Christmas."
