SOCCER mad James Souter-Phillips, aged four, scored a first when he became the youngest person ever to represent Lyme Regis in a competitive football match.
The tiny tackler was chosen to play in the local soccer club's under six team which drew 1-1 in a friendly against Seaton in a closely fought contest at the Anning Road playing field.
James is the son of Royal Standard Licensee Steven and Jane Souter-Phillips. And it's not the first time James has hit the headlines. He made national news two years ago when he flooded his parent's pub with beer after creeping downstairs after closing time to try out the pumps.
