TOP-CLASS comedy drama and acclaimed dancing are on offer at Weymouth College next week.

On Tuesday, the Dark Horse Theatre Co brings The Joy Society to the venue, a hilarious and surreal piece of work in which a buffoon infiltrates a spiritual sect and causes complete mayhem.

Two years ago, Dark Horse won the Edinburgh Festival's Herald Award, so this promises to be an unmissable show.

Supported by Bristol Old Vic and the Arts Council, the show starts at 7.30pm; tickets are £7.

Next Thursday, Bimba Dance Theatre brings Twilight Tempest of Love and Death to the college - a collaboration between the ensemble and the national Dance Company of Jamaica it is a powerful combination of Caribbean and Indian myth and ritual.

The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £6.50 plus concessions.
