A LIGHTHEARTED blend of music, comedy and dialogue is being staged in Christchurch next week to raise funds for further research into cystic fibrosis.
Opus 8's The Cruise stars just four actors and a pianist but they magic-up a cast of 20 as they set sail aboard the SS Harmonius to perform a wealth of songs from classical favourites to the best of Bacharach, plus witty dialogue and set pieces.
The show, in the Regent Centre, starts at 7.30pm on Friday, October 25, and tickets are £8.
On Sunday, November 3, young dancers are invited to the centre for auditions for the venue's 2003 Christmas panto, Sleeping Beauty.
Auditions for eight to 11-year-olds will run from noon and from 2pm for older children.
