ANOTHER high school teen drama, this time with a little cross-border rivalry for added piquancy.
Genevieve (Piper Perabo) arrives in town on a foreign exchange. Shacked up with the school's most popular honey, Starla (Jane McGregor) she begins to make a life for herself. The trouble is, the only way Genevieve thinks she can make an impact is to take over Starla's life.
She starts by stealing the affections of Starla's parents, friends and boyfriend. When Starla is forced to quit her beloved cheerleading team she begins to realise that Genevieve has been giving her deliberately bad tuition so that she will fail her classes.
And so begins an all-out war between Starla and Genevieve.
Look out for Spinal Tap's Michael McKean in a supporting role.
