A SECOND man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Jong-Ok Shin. A 33-year-old local man was arrested yesterday afternoon and is helping police with their enquiries at Bournemouth Police Station.
Jong-Ok Shin, a 26-year-old South Korean language student known to her friends as Oki, was found lying on the pavement in Malmesbury Park Road, Charminster, at 2.56am on Friday July 12 and later died at Poole Hospital from stab wounds.
Last week police charged unemployed Bournemouth man Omar Benguit, 30, with Oki's murder. He will appear at Winchester Crown Court on Friday.
