The Bournemouth Natural Science Society will be hosting an open day on Saturday, September 1.
Special displays will include archaeology, astronomy, botany, geology, horticulture and ornithology. The society's museum collections, library and specialist garden, at 39 Christchurch Road, can be viewed from 10.30am until 4.30pm.
Refreshments will be available and entrance is free.
The registered charity, which was formed nearly a century ago, offers a programme of lectures, field outings, study groups and beginners' computing course.
New members are welcome.
