RESIDENTS of Southbourne are to be treated to another helping of Music in the Park on the night of Bournemouth's simultaneous pier-to-pier Friday Night Firework display.
The musical extravaganza is a repeat of the event run by Southbourne Traders Association in Fisherman's Walk Park as part of Southbourne's successful Fun Day last month.
Two local bands - the Dolphin Marching Band and the Ferndown Concert Brass - will play on the bandstand in the park from 7pm to 9.30pm.
The free event closes with a stroll down to the Overcliff to watch the fireworks, which will be let off from both Boscombe and Bournemouth Piers at 10pm.
