DOLL lovers stepped into their idea of heaven at Kinson Community Centre on Saturday when the Global Doll Society's southern group got together with a magnificent display.
Members of the Southern Belles Chapter from all over Dorset and Hampshire displayed their home-crafted dolls, some made from moulds and others painstakingly created from scratch.
Jeannine Scard from Barton-on-Sea gave a demonstration of doll-making using paper and clay for moulds.
There was a display of antique French reproduction dolls along with artist's dolls lavishly dressed in fashions old and new.
Southern Belles secretary, Lesley Edwards, said: "Many of our members are winners of international doll-making competitions so they are a talented bunch all round.
"We usually realise how well we have done when we count the entrance fee money."
A tiny doll created by Mrs Edwards received the Best in Show award.
