I WOULD like to thank the local health services for the treatment given to my husband in a recent health scare.
Thanks to the Dorset emergency team for their quick response at the weekend, our own Atrium Health Centre Dr Williams, Dr Johannes and all their staff, our pharmacist Mr Choi and all at the Victoria Park Pharmacy and at the County Hospital, the Ultra Sound – CT Scan and Endoscopy departments and the appointment secretaries who were very understanding and helpful at a worrying time.
It is remarkable that the Dorset health service, being – as all the West Country health services are – at the bottom end of the scale when the dissolved Government has allotted its grants, can be so efficient compared to so many of the health services in the country.
It is also in the grants per child for education that we here in Dorset have been treated to bottom-of-the-scale grants for years.
