Best selling author Isolde Martyn gave a Monday morning writing workshop last week at the library.
The Off The Cuff writer’s group invited Isolde back after meeting her last September on another of the author’s return visits to her parents in Weymouth.
A most enjoyable morning was had as Littlemoors budding writers were able to chat informally and hear about particular aspects of the writer’s art.
Group member Muriel Jesse said, ‘we’re privileged to have her along and as we’ve now made Isolde an associate member I only wish she could spend more time with us.’ ‘She’s given us an idea for our first group competition which will now motivate us to spend more time writing.’ Isolde Martyn said that she loved to go along to the group as they ‘made her feel most welcome and part of the community’.
She plans to return to her Australian home at the end of next month but also hopes to pay the writers group another visit before she leaves, if her busy schedule allows it.
