WELL-established business Stag Office Products has joined the portfolio of sponsors for the Open 4 Business Awards.

The company, which is based at Egdon Hall in Lynch Lane, Weymouth, is sponsoring the Learning in the Workplace award this year.

Simon Marfell, from Stag Office Products, has joined such prominent local business people as Mickey Jones of DJ Property, Nick Stantiford of ATL and Shaun Hennessy of Blondz in lending their support to specific awards.

The Learning in the Workplace Award is apt for Stag Office Products as one its staff, customer service advisor Naomi Fear, won the Dorset Echo Apprentice of the Year Award, earlier this year.

The company supplies such machinery as faxes, photocopiers, printers and telephone systems, as well as such supplies as paper, pens, files and envelopes.

Its range also includes IT computer and printer supplies.

It can also create custom made stamps as well as education supplies, including classroom furniture. Other elements of the business include facilities management products including catering supplies, cleaning products, waste and recycling bins and mail and post room supplies and office furniture. It also has a business gifts and corporate print service to apply brands to such items as mouse mats and pens.

Stag Office also has a green range of products and supplies clothing and work wear. The overall Open 4 Business awards sponsor is Weymouth College.

By sponsoring the whole competition its name goes with the prestigious Business of the Year title but it is also supporting the First Time in Business award through its Enterprise Connection initiative.
