WHERE are you now? That’s the question being posed to former Portland students who are urged to get involved in a new alumni project.

Past pupils of Royal Manor Arts College, previously known as Royal Manor School and Tophill School, who have moved on to exciting destinations are being sought to inspire current students.

Deputy headteacher Rob Russell said the goal was to track down successful former pupils, celebrate their achievements and get them to share their experiences.

He said: “Royal Manor Arts College, previously known as Royal Manor School, Tophill School, would like to make contact with successful ex-Royal Manor students across the UK and beyond.

“We want to show our young people just how exciting life can be and to help us we would like to track the achievements of our former students.

“What did they do when they left school? Where did their dreams take them and what are they doing now?”

Mr Russell is calling for Echo readers who have family or friends at home or abroad, who attended Royal Manor to contact them and ask if they would like to share their positive experiences with the school community.

Past pupils are asked to provide some basic information about themselves and what they are now doing or have done and to send a recent high quality photograph illustrating the work they do.

Mr Russell added: “If they have a photo of themselves while attending school, even better. Please help us to inspire our youngsters for the future.”
