OKAY, so as stated in the Echo a few weeks ago, everything will be up and running by July 22.
I see that traffic can now flow both ways on King Street, much to the relief of many, including myself.
However, once again I come back to Boot Hell. Traveling into Weymouth this morning from Wyke Regis (silly me) I took the main road into town, rather than the Wyke Road, horror of all horrors – I’ll say no more.
On my return to Wyke, I took my normal route, right turn onto Wyke Road, however, despite having the green arrow, I was unable to turn, due to the backlog of traffic, which had come to a halt on Rodwell Road.
Needless to say, nothing moved, except some motorists’ heart rates.
Come on Weymouth Transport Package – we are now about to be hit by tourists, summer is here, please get it sorted.
