Richard Denton-White is critical of my letter stating that the EU may have contributed to the debate on the closure of the coastguard service.
He considers my bringing this to readers’ attention to be anti-European Union.
In October this year, the European Parliament is to vote on the proposal to create an EU Coastguard to ‘effectively combat current future dangers at sea such as terrorism, piracy and trafficking’ which could mean the end of our Coastguard Service.
Facts are usually described as anti-European Union.
