WHY, when we suddenly become awash with money, do we waste it on some elaborate design, if I may mention Newtons Cove?
Now we have Newstead Road after all this time, its still at the design stage, at a cost so far of £151,000. Unbelievable.
If we continue to design stuff of artistic nature it will cost us dearly, let’s face it, a bridge is a bridge.
The third proposed bridge at Ferrybridge, which would complete the Rodwell Trail to Portland, at this rate of progress the 2012 Olympics will be history by the time it’s built.
