I am very much in agreement with all the letters on the subject of the Pavilion in today’s Echo (October 11). Could I add one plea? Please do something about the toilets. In an establishment that serves food and drink as well as putting on three-hour shows, good toilets are essential.
Regarding any future plans, let us establish here and now that the Pavilion and the Pier are Weymouth amusement areas.
We must never allow the council to alter this to flats, hotels or any accommodation building – as they granted themselves the right to in the last debate (or should that be debacle) a few years ago.
