DORSET was the perfect location for one couple’s wedding and honeymoon.
Gareth Jones, 31, and Lola Shumskikh, 26, fell in love with the Jurassic coastline so much they decided to hold their wedding and honeymoon in the area.
The couple tied the knot at the Alexandra Hotel in Lyme Regis on June 25.
They met in university in Leeds where Lola had gone to study from Russia.
The couple live in London but loved Dorset so much they chose the area for their big day. They held the reception at Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall’s River Cottage Farm.
Gareth said: “It was a fantastic day. It feels really good to be married.”
The couple then spent a week travelling around the coast and spending time with Lola’s family, who came over from Russia.
They visited The Cobb, Durdle Door, Weymouth and Portland Bill.
Gareth said: “We really enjoyed it.”
