This letter is meant for impatient drivers who cannot wait for an elderly person, who is reduced down to being very slow in movement – and has two white sticks, as I am also registered partially sighted – to get across the crossing on Lodmoor Hill before the lights change back to green.
This has happened to me several times.
I would just say that these impatient drivers will be in a similar situation one day – ie slow of movement.
Pardon me for breathing.
To the patient drivers, thank you very much for kindness to an elderly person. All elderly people should be treated with patience and kindness.
Dorothy M James Lodmoor Hill Weymouth
