A MAN from Bovington suffered a fractured eye socket after being attacked in a nightclub.

Police have just released details of the attack which happened at the Penthouse club in Poole High Street in the early hours of Saturday October 15.

The victim was treated for his injuries at Poole Hospital.

Detective Constable Mandy Brimicombe, of Poole and Bournemouth CID, said: “The victim was assaulted by unknown offenders inside the Penthouse in the booths on the first floor.

“He was approached by two men and one of them punched the victim to the face in an unprovoked attack – causing him to fall backward over a table.”

One of the offenders is described as between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 9ins tall with brushed forward gelled hair The second man is 5ft 7ins tall with blond hair. Both are in their early 20s.Det Con Brimicombe said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this assault, and anyone who has any information about the men responsible, to contact me as soon as possible.”
