WEYMOUTH sporting star Serita Shone has been seriously injured following a high speed crash while training with the Great Britain bobsleigh team.
The 22-year-old, who was selected to join the prestigious team just a few weeks ago, has undergone a major spinal operation since the crash during training in Germany.
Bobsleigh driver Fiona Harrison suffered a head injury and is under observation in hospital.
The crash happened at the Winterberg track.
