A QUIZ night will be taking place tomorrow to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society Inca Trail Challenge.
Fundraiser Pauline Lewington is holding a series of events to raise £3,200 to undertake the charity’s trek in Peru next May, in memory of her late husband Ken.
The quiz will be taking place at 7.30pm, upstairs at Wellworthy Sports and Social Club, Dumbarton Road, Wyke Regis.
Teams of up to six are welcome, the entry fee is £2 per person and there will be two raffles with top prizes.
Mrs Lewington said: “The fundraising is going well.
“I’ve raised over £2,150 now and there are several events to go before end of year including the quiz night, quilt raffle and Christmas Tesco bag pack.
“Chris Bartholemew is very kindly arranging the quiz and it should be a great evening.
“There’s going to be two raffles and people and local businesses have been very generous donating prizes of meals, vouchers from stores, wine, whisky, sweets and books.”
