A WOMAN was arrested and a quantity of cannabis seized in a Drugs raid in Purbeck.
Police said a warrant obtained under the Misuse of Drugs Act was executed at a house in Folly Lane, Wareham.
Officers found and seized a quantity of cannabis at the address – the amount discovered is not being revealed.
A 42-year-old Wareham woman was arrested and issued with a police caution.
Police have only just released details of the raid, which took place last Thursday morning.
Purbeck Neighbourhood Inspector Tracey Baker said: “The execution of this warrant shows that we will not tolerate drug-related crime.
“I am committed to bringing these types of offences to justice, and I’d encourage anyone who believes drugs offences are taking places in their area to contact Dorset Police immediately so that we can take action.”
