RESIDENTS are being urged to have a spring clean and help to keep Britain tidy.
Town and parish councils will be working together with West Dorset District Council to get involved in the Spring Clean litter pick as part of Keep Britain Tidy campaign’s Big Tidy Up.
Events will take place across the area in April and the district council will provide gloves, a risk assessment check form, a guide to organising an event and deliver and collect rubbish bags.

All forms must be returned to Streetscene, Poundbury Depot, Poundbury West Industrial Estate, Dorchester, DT1 2PG by March 16, 2012.
