HOLLYWOOD’S A-list enjoyed a little taste of Dorset at the Oscars last night.
Stars of the silver screen flocked to the 84th Academy Awards, or Oscars as they are better known, at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles.
Big name nominees, including George Clooney, Meryl Streep and Michelle Williams, were treated to extravagant goody bags at the world-famous event, containing treats such as Macbooks, designer clothing and diamond jewellery. But the tastiest addition to this year’s swag bags were free boxes of Dorset Cereals, in berries and cherries and cranberry and almond muesli flavour, which came with a bowl and spoon and a Little Book of Dorset so the celebrities could discover more about the county.
Poundbury-based business Dorset Cereals, who have been running for nearly 27 years, were selected by GBK, who organise the gift lounge for the big night.
