AGONY aunt Caroline Buchanan has found the ACE secret life – by living to the 15-minute rule.

She has written a new self-help book called The 15 Minute Rule – How to Stop Procrastinating and Take Control of Your Life.

Caroline, who splits her time between London and West Dorset, says the idea is to divide time into 15 minute slots.

She says it makes it easier to make a start on tackling unpleasant tasks or jobs which have been put off.

Caroline hit upon the 15 minute idea when she was trying to make filling in her tax returns more bearable but also said the book hinges on the concept that Attitude Changes Everything (ACE).

She said: “I believe in it passionately. It’s about how to easily deal with all the difficult things in life and also about how to bring all sorts of wonderful things to your life.

“You can use the rule on virtually anything.

“I have chapters on love life, relationships, weight management, the myth of willpower and loads of other goodies.

“There is also a chapter on your ACE card – an acronym I’ve invented for Attitude Changes Everything.”

Caroline is a journalist who has written for national magazines and newspapers and has a home in Litton Cheney.

She has been an agony aunt for top women’s magazines and has filled the role at Now magazine for the past 15 years.

She is also a counselling expert for Weight Watchers magazine and is a Relate trained counsellor who has appeared on TV and radio.
