THE family of a man who died in a fatal fire in Weymouth are being urged to come forward.

The victim in yesterday’s fatal fire was named as Duncan Neil Roberts, aged 62, who tragically died after a blaze broke out at a ground-floor flat in the Park District.

The West Dorset Coroners Court is now seeking to find Mr Roberts next of kin. The coroner is investigating the death but it is not being treated as suspicious.

It is believed that about 20 years ago Mr Roberts lived in Bournemouth. He may have a son and a daughter and the coroner is appealing for them to get in touch with him.

The family of Duncan Roberts should contact the coroner’s office as soon as possible on 01305 223033. This number is different to the one previously advertised.
