A FATHER admitted flooding a police cell with urine and spitting at officers.
Scott Brown, of Clivia Close, Weymouth, pleaded guilty at Dorchester Crown Court to causing nearly £300 of criminal damage at a police station.
Angela England, prosecuting, told the court that the 26-year-old was arrested on September 8 last year for offences which were subsequently dropped.
She said: “Officers saw urine and water spilling out from under the cell door.
“Brown had ripped open the mattress, placed the foam in the toilet and kicked it loose from the wall. When officers tried to interview him afterwards he spat at them.”
In mitigation Richard Tutt said: “Brown has a personality disorder and has been under treatment and taking medication.
“After his arrest he asked to see his solicitor, who was not available, this made him extremely agitated.”
The court was told Brown has 24 previous convictions, but prior to this offence, had been out of trouble since June 2009.
Brown was given a two year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £298.85 compensation.
