IT’S not too late to help raise money for a charity for ex-servicemen and women.
Intrepid volunteers will be wrapping up warm and readying their sleeping bags to spend a night sleeping under the stars at Nothe Fort in Weymouth tomorrow night.
The sleep out is in aid of Alabare Christian Care and Support, a charity that provides accommodation, help and support for ex-servicemen and women.
The charity has two houses in Weymouth for ex-servicemen.
Volunteers will be sleeping out from 10.30pm to 7am at the Napoleonic fort, which is also rumoured to be haunted.
Emma Williams-Mandiville from Alabare said they were hoping to have a quite a few people taking part in the second annual event.
She said that last year the temperatures dropped very low during the night. She said: “I’m feeling a bit nervous given last year.”
