Lily-Mae’s father, John, a Royal Marine with Norton Manor Camp-based 40 Commando, featured on a 2012 charity calendar to raise funds for Go Commando, which supports families at the base – his wife, Charlene, is a trustee of the charity.
A Go Commando spokesman said: “On behalf of the charity, it is with great sorrow that we learn of the sad loss of the daughter of one of our trustees.
“We would like to take this opportunity to send our sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends.
“The Jeffries family have played a big part in the success of the Go Commando team and are very dear to us all.
“A wonderful, bright little girl, Lily-Mae always liked to attend events held by the charity and charmed everyone she met. She was confident for such a tender age without ever being precocious and her boundless sense of fun and excitement enthused us all. Lily-Mae will be greatly missed and our thoughts and prayers are with her family.”
