OLYMPIC transport chief Matthew Piles will be outlining plans for the summer in Weymouth and Portland at a community meeting.
Mr Piles, the 2012 roads and traffic manager for Dorset County Council, has been invited to speak at a meeting of the Waterside Weymouth Community Forum.
It will be an opportunity for residents to get clarification on the proposals governing traffic control and road closures during the Olympic Games.
It is hoped that Simon Williams, head of 2012 operations in Weymouth and Portland, will also attend the meeting.
Plans for a Park District street party to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee will also be discussed. Everyone is welcome to the meeting at the Park Centre in Chelmsford Street on Wednesday, March 21 at 7.30pm.
