I would like to thank everyone who has supported the Song for Dorchester. People have contributed in so many different ways – sending in words, helping with publicity, turning up for the workshop and singing it and coming to listen. Many thanks to Kathie Prince and Geoff Edge who wrote the piece and led us to our first performance. The event raised £314.16 for the mayor’s charities – Dorset Night-stop, Mediation Dorset and Footprints, which is brilliant.
We’ve been asked so many times ‘When will we be doing it again?’ The answer is ‘as soon as possible!’
