Sutton Poyntz Village WI recently had its birthday lunch at the Cygnets restaurant in Weymouth College.
It is one of our favourite places to celebrate as the food is always delicious and beautifully presented. Many of us are unable to resist their ‘cygneture’ dessert which is made of choux pastry in the shape of a swan and filled with cream and fresh fruit.
‘Ooh la la’, as Raymond Blanc would say.
The young people involved in the preparation and cooking of the meals and those who greeted us, served at the bar and waited on tables were a pleasure to meet and a credit to their tutors and the college. So, yes, we’ll be back!
