TWO people were taken to hospital with 'serious injuries' after a collision in Weymouth.
The crash occurred at 7.45am this morning and a man and a woman were taken to Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester.
Their injuries were 'serious' but not life-threatening, Dorset Police said.
The collision, which happened at the Jurassic Roundabout, Littlemoor at the end of Weymouth Relief Road,involved a silver Volkswagen Polo, registered to a Dorchester woman, and a black Honda Civic, registered to a Dorchester company.
The road from Dorchester was blocked and queues of traffic built up, while police and South Western Ambulance crews attended the incident and the vehicles were recovered.
A Dorset Police spokesman said they were alerted by a woman on a mobile phone.
