West Dorset District Council has put its current offices on the market.
The council will be moving into new offices in Charles Street by the end of the year and has taken steps to sell its current Stratton House home.
It has appointed property adviser GVA to oversee the sale of the premises, which includes 50,000 square feet of officer accommodation at Stratton House, Glyde Path House, The Old School House, 17 and 17a Colliton Street and a row of former cottages.
West Dorset District Council Leader Robert Gould said: “The sale of these properties is part of our agreed strategy to relocate to smaller offices in Charles Street later this year, so generating best return on our investment, and best value for the town.”
The deadline for offers on the offices is July 18. For enquiries call 0117 988 5331.
