A WARNING about advice on how to deter seagulls is going to reach Lyme Regis through West Dorset District Council’s Community Link newsletter.
Members of Lyme Regis Town Council’s full council heard that an appeal for funding from the district authority to draw up a leaflet had fallen on deaf ears.
But they were told that information would be going in the new issue of the Community Link newsletter, which is distributed to homes throughout West Dorset.
Coun Mark Gage said that it was unfortunate that very little came the way of Lyme Regis from the Dorchester-based district council.
But Coun Daryl Turner, who is also a district councillor, retorted that millions had come for the sea defences work.
