Dramatic roles

JURASSIC Airlines is recruiting volunteers with dramatic flair for role-play parts as check-in crew, security guards and flight stewards or stewardesses this summer.

Event stewards are also needed.

The project, which is part of the Mari-time Mix Cultural Olympiad by the Sea events, will see Weymouth International Air-port on the Pavilion forecourt from July 26 to September 9.

Jurassic Airlines proved so popular when it launched in Lyme Regis in early May, that extra flights had to be laid on.

Passengers will be invited to board a Boeing 737 simulator, which journeys back 250million years to when dinosaurs roamed the Jurassic Coast.

Volunteers will receive travel expenses, full training and ‘premier crew’ benefits.

The estimated economic boosts for each region: - Hampshire – £8million - Berkshire – £3.5million - Dorset – £3million - Oxfordshire – £3million - West Sussex – £3million - Buckinghamshire – £3million - Parts of Wiltshire and Surrey – £1.5million
