What does Weymouth get from the Olympic Legacy?
As part of Portland’s reward it was promised a fibre-optic internet service, this is now complete and available as an upgrade for a few extra pennies.
Earlier this year BT announced, in the Echo, that Weymouth would be included in this service update and since then the BT website has been displaying a completion date for BT Infinity, in Weymouth, as July 30, 2012.
That was until I checked on July 2 and found that Weymouth is now on the list for completion by December 31, 2013. I don’t know what else was promised. Perhaps the limp flags will be our legacy?
