RESIDENTS in Weymouth and Portland should ensure all bins are ready for collection from 6am over the Olympic Torch Relay period.
This is to ensure waste collection services run as smoothly as possible.
The Olympic torch will pass through Weymouth and Portland on Thursday and Friday this week and collections will take place slightly earlier to allow for any transport disruption.
There will be no changes to collection days this week or during the Olympics.
